DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the highly anticipated self-titled debut album of Germany’s KNIFE on CD and vinyl LP formats.
Formed in 2019, Germany’s KNIFE have been one of the hottest insider tips in the metalpunk underground. The quartet’s aim from the beginning has been to play fast and wild METAL, and they did exactly that with their two-song debut tape, Black Leather Hounds, in early 2020. Not long after, KNIFE released the four-song Locked In EP. Even more aptly titled than their first recording, Locked In saw the band bring all their influences together – from classic hard rock and heavy metal to first-wave black metal and punk, and more – into a throttling and nasty sound.
Now, forged in the hot winds, tempered by the shrieking sounds of Hades, a blade made of immortal steel rises from the depths to vindicate the souls of those who obey the true sound of METAL: KNIFE’s debut full-length, simply self-titled Knife. At once comfortingly familiar but exuding a charisma and star power which elevates it into the halls of greatness, Knife goes from the throat right from the opener “Behold the Horse of War” and doesn’t let go even after the last seconds of closer “Possessed” ring out. Neither strictly straightforward heavy metal nor retro-minded metalpunk, spanning both speed metal surge and fist-banging hard rock alike, KNIFE keep it lawless and loose across their debut album, cumulatively conveying their past, present, and definitely future. DYING VICTIMS is proud to present a special new EP from TTERBNEXEH, Intermezzo dei quattro coltelli nudi, on CD, music cassette and 12” vinyl formats.
It was but May of the cursed year of 2020 when TTERBNEXEH truly came into their own with their shockingly masterful debut album, Zweite Beschwörung: Ein Kind zu töten, courtesy of DYING VICTIMS. While the enigmatic duo of Josto Feratu and Scarlettina Bolétte had definitely turned heads with Erste Beschwörung EP in 2019, their debut album’s idiosyncratic kaleidoscope of Varathron, Jean Rollin, Danzig, Goblin, and Van Halen emerged as completely unique and unlike little else around.
Predictably unpredictable, TTERBNEXEH return with a crazed ‘n’ crazy EP that’s the result of canceled concerts and tours: the four-song Intermezzo dei quattro coltelli nudi. As suggested by its titled, the record is no “Beschwörung” but, rather, an intermezzo. Because, for the first time in the brief history of TTERBNEXEH, this EP does not feature performances by Josto Feratu or Scarlettina Bolétte. Instead, the tracks were recorded by what had been the live line-up for 2020, but of course under the watchful eyes and ears of the clandestine couple.
Suitably, Intermezzo dei quattro coltelli nudi strays some from the TTERBNEXEH sound so far revealed whilst etching the band’s twisted identity even further. With all songs and lyrics written by the duo of Feratu and Bollétte – except for a reverential cover of the early Misfits track “Return of the Fly” – the band’s original material here displays new facets in TTERBNEXEH sound: heavier, weirder, more atmospheric and more aggressive. It’s basically more of everything and the most accurate presentation of The Sound Of the Bloody Iris to date, and bloody fucking good no matter how you cut! While TTERBNEXEH previous full-length record featured unexplainable additional sounds in the background of the tracks, the material on Intermezzo… had to be re-recorded many times as things got lost continuously. It seems as if Feratu and Bolétte are still haunted from their past… But hark! Intermezzo dei quattro coltelli nudi is no taster/teaser of the second TTERBNEXEH full-length. Those mysteries are only known to the duo.

Three sixes branded at the top of his head, and the prophecy predicts eternal tribulation and condemnation to those who betrayed and wear shackles. Seven chaplets and 11 horns encrust his neck, and his hand holds the key to the world unblemished by the lie. The sign of Hell worships the beast in black and his servant…SEXMAG!
Drawing their moniker from Poland’s legendary Kat, SEXMAG arrive from the darkest past with a seven-track expurse of sodomy bearing the call-to-arms title of Sex Metal. Across the five primary curses and bookending intro and outro, the mysterious entity create a caustic and careening sound drawing equal strength from ‘80s proto-black metal and the vilest thrash. Names invoked include earliest Destruction, Sepultura, Venom, Tormentor, Sarcófago, Master’s Hammer, and Violent Force, but with a fear-for-their-safety identity all their own. Or, put another way, think of the most garaged old New Renaissance release left rotting in the sun and covered in black-candle wax…that is Sex Metal!
