DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present IRON CURTAIN’s highly anticipated fourth album, Danger Zone, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.
For the past decade, Spain’s IRON CURTAIN have become a veritable institution in the international true-metal underground. Road to Hell, their debut album from 2012, set the stage for their successive scene dominance. Forged in the fires of the early ’80s, IRON CURTAIN’s sound set forth a smorgasboard of grit and gleam equally, largely nodding to the eternal Motörhead as well as Tank, but also Canadian gods like Exciter and Razor, to the Teutonic might of early Iron Angel and Grave Digger, to Scandinavian gods OZ and Heavy Load, to cult American icons Abattoir and Savage Grace. Indeed, none more true were IRON CURTAIN – and they were here to stay! Two more revered full-lengths followed – 2013’s Jaguar Spirit and 2016’s Guilty as Charged – but now IRON CURTAIN are about to lift the veil on their most rocking record yet.
Fans since the beginning, DYING VICTIMS is honored to unleash that hot rocker in the form of Danger Zone, arguably IRON CURTAIN’s magnum opus. Scaling back the speed that characterized the band earlier on, here do IRON CURTAIN work the sweet-spot mid-tempo, maximizing space and shade within these overtly more melodic gems. The production on Danger Zone is especially exquisite, retaining an era-authentic grittiness without sacrificing any latent heaviness. Not that “heaviness” per se is the prime directive on LP#4 – although, ripping opener “Wildlife” would suggest otherwise – rather, the cooly cruising dynamic these eight anthems take is far more suited to fist-shaking and pint-raising instead of thrashing like a maniac. Thus, hooks are huge, and any perceived “cleaning up” of the production pays off across these 33 electric minutes, culminating in the mesmerizingly moody climactic closer “Lonewolf.”

DVP 140 Hexenbrett – Erste Beschwörung MLP
DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present HEXENBRETT’s debut ooutput, Erste Beschwörung, on Mini LP and digital formats. Originally self-released at the end of 2018, this first summoning of the macabre HEXENBRETT is surely one of 2019’s most nefarious recordings.
HEXENBRETT is an entity that provides cemetery sounds exclusively. The first invocation, fittingly entitled Erste Beschwörung, is a sample of what will follow in the future. Roaming ancient dungeons with sword in one hand and torch in the other, HEXENBRETT conjures the madness and mysticism of olde-worlde black metal, when unorthodoxy was celebrated and no blueprints yet existed – only paths to be blazed! Indeed does HEXENBRETT blaze across this four-song/19-minute offering, remaining firmly rooted in the purest metals but fanning those flames with a creepy, coffin-dwelling atmosphere that puts Erste Beschwörung in a league all its own, also incorporating eldritch doom and deathrock into this wildly bubbling cauldron. And it’s early days still…
No boundaries, no limitations: HEXENBRETT digs its own unique grave with Erste Beschwörung, and the cemetery is wide-fucking-open. The spell was cast, the demons are here – let the haunting begin!

DVP 141 Sacrifizer – La Mort Triomphante LP
DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present SACRIFIZER’s debut mini-album, La Mort Triomphante, on vinyl LP format. Enhanced with the band’s 2018 demo and one new track, the infernal majesty of La Mort Triomphante has now been expanded into full-length format.
Originally released earlier this year on limited-edition CD and cassette, La Mort Triomphante was SACRIFIZER’s glorious burst from the underground. At five furious tracks and atmosphere-setting intro, La Mort Triomphante sounds much like its cover looks: icy yet fiery, galloping forward like evil invaders with a violent restitution. Indeed, SACRIFIZER are 100% cult speed metal sewn from ancient Canadian cloth, but other fibers from ’80s France and Germany also comprise their patchwork of salacious speed and bestial devastation. Grounded in the more traditional end of speed metal, the quintet keep their songwriting focused and straightforward, maximizing hooks and never forgetting the eternal magick of a good guitar solo; even the production itself on La Mort Triomphante is era-authentic but never smacks of cheap retro-posturing. The same could be said for their debut demo, Night of the Razors, which is here amended to this special LP version. A bit more berzerker and dripping with diabolism, SACRIZER early on indeed exuded some Morsüre vibes. “Morbid Envenomation,” the brand-new track exclusive to this vinyl LP, ends off the record with the band in full-on epic and EVIL mode, pointing the way toward SACRIFIZER’s inevitable debut album, which is bound to be a modern classic…soon!
